Attendance

In order to get the most from their time at Fakenham Academy, students must have excellent attendance - above 96%.

We believe that regular school attendance is the key to enabling students to maximise the educational opportunities available to them and to become resilient, confident and competent adults who are able to realise their full potential and make a positive contribution to their community.

We value all students and we will work with families to identify the reasons for unsatisfactory attendance and try to resolve any difficulties.

We reward those students who have an attendance of 96% or better. 

For students with an attendance below 96% Form Tutors will intervene and contact home to discuss how to improve the student's attendance. 

For students with attendance below 91% will follow our attendance policy including letters being sent home to offer further support and help to help improve the students attendance.
